Challenge: Muddy water is a common problem when repairing a culvert. Getting rid of that water and meeting state regulations used to be the difficult part. Not anymore.
Solution: The Flocculator polymer injection system takes less than 10 minutes to assemble. The predetermined polymer solution travels through the feed tube at a specific rate to a standard dewatering pump.
The treated water is then pumped to:
a) a retention basin for settling and then discharge off site
b) a Floc Bag which captures the flocculated sediment and discharges clean water that meets turbidity requirements.
This filter captures the flocculated soil, while the clean water is discharged directly off-site.
