Challenge: While drilling caissons for the footing of a new bridge, a sewer line was accidentally punctured. With the potential for thousands of gallons of raw sewage to spill out, the Client faced a potential environmental disaster. They needed a solution, and they needed one quickly.
Solution: Within an hour of receiving the call, MSP Rents had delivered and set up the primary pumping system. Soon afterwards, 100% pumping redundancy had been established with independent 8" pipelines connected to the primary and secondary pumps. The rapid assessment and response of MSP Rents helped the Client contain and overcome a critical sewer main break that could have resulted in hefty fines and major environmental damage.
