Challenge: Colvard Farms is a 300-acre luxury residential community located near Research Triangle Park in North Carolina. When the management of this community needed to fill a new 55 million gallon irrigation pond and make a 40-acre high-pressure sprinkler system operational, they asked MSP Rents to design and implement a suitable pumping system.
Solution: Due to the residential nature of the site, MSP Rents used a 6" TSC sound-attenuated pump to move water from a large lake into the irrigation pond. Once the pond was filled, a 6"x4" JSC pump with high-head capability was set up to pump the pond water into the sprinkler system through a special filter system of check valves and gate valves.
