Challenge: In order to double the size of a wastewater treatment facility plant, the Client needed to drain an area the size of four football fields and dig down to a depth of 25'. This task was complicated by the fact that the water table started three feet below the surface.
Solution: MSP Rents designed a manifold system hooked up to a set of special vacuum pumps. The primary pump had a 250 gallon extended fuel tank that enabled a week long extended run time. Surrounded by a special environmental spill berm, these pumps were connected to underground sock lines that ran 16' deep. In a matter of hours the water was under control and construction on the new treatment facility plant was able to proceed.
