Challenge: The client was setting a new wet well on a hospital campus, and needed to temporarily bypass the existing one. Due to the sensitive nature of the surrounding facilities, safety and noise levels were critical considerations.
Solution: MSP Rents designed a low-noise pumping system using 2 TSC pumps and a special environmental containment berm. The pumps were linked to a satellite communication system that would send out text-messages and email in case of failure. In addition, the system was equipped with a strobe-light visual alert to notify the surrounding area in the event of a pump malfunction.
